TeamViewer For Android Gets Tweaked With New Features
The latest update for the software brings native touch controls to the devices.
The Android version of TeamViewer, the popular Virtual Network Computing (VNC) service has been updated with a set of new features, which include native touch control, something that users have been asking for quite sometime now.
The latest version of TeamViewer is now enabled with new input method for tablets, direct touch gestures. What this means is that users need not move the cursor to do anything. They can just tap and drag the content, without the hassle of a pointer.
The TeamViewer update for Android also comes loaded with revamped settings menu, a new registration site for computers and contacts, re-written app instructions, and optimised version for Android 4.2 aka Jelly Bean. The update also offers standard bug fixes and other improvements. You could download the updated version from Google Play .
Other than Android, Windows 8 support for TeamViewer has also been tweaked, which blends well with the Windows 8's native OS gestures, that results in smoother navigation from PC to tablet.
