Next up, reports suggest that Sony will roll out Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean update for its Xperia S smartphone, which was recognised a flagship model for sometime in 2012. The news about update has come via tweet by Sony Mobile Germany. Sony Xperia S was launched in early 2012 and the phone comes with a 10.9-cm (4.3-inch) display and runs Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM. It comes fitted with a 12 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front-facing shooter for video calling. The phone has 32 GB internal storage capacity. The update could be available by next month but Indian roll out is not known as of now. EFYTIMES News Network |
