Tablets are typically seen in the 17.7-cm (7-inch) or 24.6-cm (10-inch) form factor but Apple did something different with the 20.1-cm (7.9-inch) iPad Mini, which offered more options, that seemed to be more viable than the other two. Now it seems, Apple is not the only one with an unconventional display size. China-based brand, Colorfly has launched its own iPad Mini clone, dubbed CT781 tablet, that comes with a 19.8-cm (7.8-inch) display. GooPhone is renowned for its smartphone and tablet clones and with Colorfly, the cloning game gets competitive.

The Colorfly CT781 sports a 19.8-cm (7.8-inch) display with a thinner form factor compared to the iPad Mini. The square-shaped slate is powered by a quad-core AllWinner processor, coupled with 1 GB RAM.
We reckon the tablet runs Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean version. The PowerVR graphics board offers high-end gaming experience. Looking at the hardware, it seems the tablet will come with a 3 MP rear and 1.3 MP front-facing camera, if not more.
The company has not shared the pricing details and launch dates for the time being but the Colorfly tablet should be launched in the native market for less than $200. EFYTIMES News Network |
