Google is working on improving all its products that are available to a large user base across the globe. After frequently offering new Android versions, the search-engine giant has been busy developing more products, like Google Keep, which will compete with Evernote, the popular note-taking service.
And now, with the date for Google I/O closing in, it seems Google is also eager to revamp the look of its app store hub, Google Play store. This revamped version will make its debut as Google Play version 4.0.

The leaked pictures of the updated version has a Google Now-like box style and the entire app store has been given a new look from a UI perspective. The 4.0 version comes with Holo theme and uses new fonts in categories like titles, bigger images, individual pages for apps, movies, etc. These sections also come loaded with bigger images and cleaner design, which is something that Google preaches. Apart from that, the layout of pages, including search results, are pretty much the same.
The exact timeframe for release of Google Play version 4.0 is not clear as of now but considering the leaks that are floating on the Web with demos, one can expect it to go live in the next few weeks.
